The visionaries behind Lattu.ai are successful Bangladeshi technologists with professional experience at global IT giants, including Microsoft, Disney, Google and Amazon. Having themselves excelled in higher education abroad, they are committed to solving the information gap faced by students at home, who frequently struggle with fragmented information from education fairs, blogs and scattered sources.

“We wanted to create a platform where students can easily plan their higher studies and research abroad. Lattu.ai consolidates all essential information so that Bangladeshi students can access a world of knowledge at their fingertips,” said co-founder Pallab Mahmud, a software engineer with professional experience at Microsoft. Citing UNESCO data, the release said 52,799 Bangladeshi students pursued higher education abroad in 2023, nearly ten times the number recorded in 2010.

Lattu AI is a new platform built in Bangladesh by alumni who have navigated the international admissions process themselves. From identifying suitable universities across 18 countries to detailing total living expenses, scholarships, and post-graduation career paths, it helps students make confident, well-informed decisions before committing their time and money.

Students begin by sharing information about their academic background, goals, budget and preferences. Lattu AI then creates a personalized study-abroad plan, bringing together relevant university and program options alongside information on costs, requirements, application processes, scholarships and other parts of the journey.
